Description
An apple named Imperial was on the Preliminary Fruit List of Colorado, 1891. Our scion came from Geneva repository. Not sure if same apple as referred to on old list. This apple is of UK origin although the one on the 1891 list was said to be of Russian origin. Dan Bussey lists 5 varieties of Imperial of different origins.
