DNA Testing

In 2014, the Montezuma Orchard Restoration Project submitted the first, of what we hope will be many, collections of samples from numerous local fruit trees. The samples were submitted to the Agricultural Research Station (ARS) in Ft. Collins, Colroado, for storage until a critical number is reached to begin DNA testing and identification. Help us in this effort, as we seek additional funding for testing many unusual historic fruit trees in the area. AND STAY TUNED FOR THE RESULTS!!!
