Join Montezuma Orchard Restoration Project (MORP)  in learning the valuable skill of grafting and take home four heritage apple trees (grafted by you) in Salida, Colorado on THURS,  March 28th from 6:30P to 8:30P. Meet at Salida Vineyard Church downstairs in the main room known as “Black Bear National Park”.

Learn to Graft with MORP!

A minimum of 10 participants are required and a maximum of 20 allowed – so please preregister early to assure your place in the workshop (although you can register at event first come, first serve). Let us know that you plan to attend the Salida workshop by emailing MORP at morp@montezumaorchard.org; you can also preregister AND pre-pay at the Donate Button at our website  – just write a note in the comment line or send us an email as to which workshop you paid for. Cost is $50 for current MORP members; $60 otherwise; you may become a member or renew your membership at the same time as paying for class. Send  us an email to learn if your annual membership is current.

MORP provides all the needed supplies including scion. However, you may bring your own scion if you have a favorite tree you would like to graft. Here is a  link that explains how to collect scion. Store in fridge or cool place until use, but NOT with fruit as outgassing may damage the scion.
