Pruning Workshop at Montezuma-Cortez Middle School Orchard

Join MORP and the Montezuma School to Farm Project for a hands-on pruning workshop on Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Register in advance even if you qualify for a free workshop so we know to expect you. Choose status from dropdown at checkout.

What to Bring:

  • Dress appropriately for the weather
  • Wear boots, gloves, and glasses
  • Bring water and a snack
  • If you have one, please bring a sharpened pruning tool; MORP will provide extras as needed.

Workshop Location:
Montezuma-Cortez Middle School orchard
This orchard was established in 2013 in collaboration with the Montezuma School to Farm Project, featuring apple trees grafted by MORP from a historic Montezuma County orchard.

Cost:
FREE for:

  • Current MORP members (a $30 fee for lapsed or non-members)
  • Anyone affiliated with MSTFP
  • Teachers and students from any school

Otherwise, $3o per household.
