Help Grow the Fruitful Legacy Endowment Fund

To support Montezuma Orchard Restoration Project’s future

Make a cash donation and/or consider other ways to give as outlined below.

Remnants of Colorado’s rich fruit diversity can still be found in both our rural and urban landscapes. These trees may be hidden or right in plain sight. They are sometimes forgotten, yet at other times cherished by families who remember their significance. Montezuma Orchard Restoration Project is committed to preserving this fruitful legacy. Join the legacy today by contributing to our Fruitful Legacy Endowment Fund.

Seeded in December 2025 with a generous $200,000 donation from a supporter who values MORP’s efforts, the fund aims to cultivate a sustainable future. The cofounders of MORP are determined to ensure that the progress made in preserving Colorado’s rare and endangered apple cultivars continues for generations to come, preventing any achievements from being re-lost to time.

The Fruitful Legacy Endowment is designed as a permanent fund that provides ongoing support for the preservation of Colorado’s fruit growing heritage, year after year. When your endowment contribution is invested, a portion of the annual investment return can be allocated to support the work of MORP, while the original gift amount—known as the principal—remains secure and continues to grow over time.

MORP is working towards increasing this fund to $2 million to ensure organizational stability both now and a 100+ years from now. We invite you to join this important initiative today. Your generosity will create a lasting legacy for years to come.
