Known locally as “Sara’s Polka Dot”. DNA analysis matched it to its historic name. Several old trees grow in Weber Canyon, Mancos CO. Considered one of America’s oldest varieties. Ripens in the summer over an extended period. Great fresh. Superb for drying. Good for cooking. Juicy, rich, melting, pleasant, aromatic, mild subacid flesh.
