Description
This was formerly known as our unknown “bold pink group” but now has been formally identified as Early Ripe by matching to DNA results from the Horne Creek Collection.
A yellow medium to large, summer apple found by MORP in the historic Lebanon orchard district, Montezuma County, Colorado. DNA informs us that this apple is from very old ancestry.
Firm, crisp, and juicy for its season. Subacid. Ripens with Lodi, mid July.
