Description
An outstanding fresh eating apple that tied for third place at the national Pomological Exibition of seedling and wild fruits. An old seeding found in a historic orchard in Lakewood, Denver now bulldozed in favor of development. Named by fruit explorer Karl Kister.
Golden Yellow with bronze-orange blush. Flesh very juicy and firm. Taste is honey sweet with balanced subacidity. Stores exceedingly well. Parents are Red Delicious x Golden Delicious.
