Description
A historic cultivar whose name has been forgotten to time. An entire row of these old trees remain in the historic Hoffman orchard, Hermosa Valley, Colorado where they have resisted pest, disease, and drought for over 100 years.
Appears to be an earlier ripening, possibly summer apple. Greenish yellow background overlaid with red flush and stripes. Tender, acidic flesh that mellows to berry taste when ripe.
