Description
A handsome medium-sized apple with stripes in various shades of red. The whitish flesh is slightly coarse and breaking, juicy, with a pleasant and mild subacid flavor. This tree produces fruit at a younger age than most varieties. Historically it was planted between rows for a early crop and later removed once the entire orchard came into production.
