Ripens over several weeks in early fall so visit regularly to pick when perfect. Medium-large round-oblate apples are pale yellow/green washed and marbled with bright red and overlaid with striking dark red stripes. Crisp, juicy, tender, fine-grained flesh. Recommended for fresh eating, pies, or sauce. Found in Colorado’s oldest orchards.
