Plumb Cider

This Midwestern apple made its way into Colorado’s earliest orchards but was considered lost until apple historian Dan Bussey rediscovered it the former Sherman Orchard in Newville, Wisconsin in 1989.

Brisk acidic flavor. Good fresh, cooked, or in cider. Cold hardy. There are so few known mature trees of this variety that it is considered functionally extinct.
