Description
An endangered apple that was grown widely across Colorado by early fruit growers, likely due to its cold hardiness. Never popular commercially because its tender skin bruises easily. Yet this apple was fine enough to win many awards at Colorado fairs. Flesh white, coarse-grained, crisp, juicy, sprightly subacid, good, very good for cooking.
